First time post. Today I went on Beaver Lake, I had been told there are big bass there, but I had never seen one caught. So I went to try it out. I went for a few hours the night before, but I only caught 1 small guy on a drop shot. This morning I only caught 1 fish too, but I was my new personal best bass. My dad caught three small bass. I caught my big guy on a drop shot on a dock. The fish were very shallow, in between 1-6 feet. Then I went home, ate lunch, then was going to meet someone back at the lake, but they bailed, so I went out by myself, I am so glad I did because I had one of the best bass fishing times ever. I caught probably about 10, with at least that many that spit the hook. the last fish I caught was the my third best bass so far. Besides my biggest, I caught all my fish on a 3.5" swim bait on a 1/4th round ball jig head. Most of them were caught skipping docks, but the second big guy I caught was in a hole in the lillipads. Hope this helps!
