Arrived at the lake about 930 am and headed out on the water. Began catching planter trout almost immediately. Between my buddy and me, we caught and released 25 trout in about 5 hours on the water. The hot flies were green wooley buggers and black nymph patterns. Some flashy tinsel seemed to help. Fish hit hard and immediately came out of the water. Most fish were great fighters and were 12 to 14 inches in length. They were fat and healthy. We used full sink and intermediate sink lines and let out a lot of line. Fish were all over the lake- but the bigger ones seemed to be in the deeper water.

That ramp is getting shallower. Wish they could dredge it just a bit. But the lake is fun, I took my cousin out the 24th too after work. Flys behind a silver dodger did it for us. It was a fun night for sure.
