Riffe Lake Memorial day

We got to Taidnampam park on Saturday afternoon.

The Taidnampam North launch was full of drift wood, other boats where using it so we decided to try the launch around 4PM . We got 1 silver inside near the fishing bridge and another just north of the launch area in the main lake.

Sunday we got a late start and only managed 2 silvers in the main area of the lake just north of the boat launch.

Monday we where fishing by 6AM and had two drive byes and no fish. Off the water by 10AM.

We used dodgers or sling blades w/ mini-hoochies tipped with coon shrimp.

Talked with lots of other fisherman who had the minimal success we had.

With the launch being filled with drift wood; retrieving the boat was a pain in the ass. Driftwood was getting stuck/caught between the trailer bunks and the boat. We would have to back the trailer and boat in and out trying to free the drift wood, but not cause damage to the transducer or tail lights… it was a pain. On the last day it took 6 times!!!!

Weather was great.
