Nothing to spectacular today, caught fish on grubs, spinnerbait and drop shot. The biggest of the day was only 3lbs and I missed more fish than I caught due to short strikes and follows. Water temps were in the low 60's and the sun was out most of the morning but by the afternoon it had turned overcast.

Smallies are thin and lanky post spawn fish, a couple coughed up crawfish in my boat. I usually do better on this lake in August and early September but sure had fun running the length of it today! The wind picked up a little bit but never really got too bad.

Rocks shallow, shallow docks or docks with a depth change under them and the piling field by the launch in the north end did the best for me. Launched at 9am and stayed until 5pm.

B8 - Did you ever think about making a seat adapter to set your camera on? I had one for my Bass Tracker. You mount your camera on the seat, set the timer and pull the fish from the live well and smile.

I can actually use the pedestal seat as a holder and set the timer if I want. Usually I just prefer to let the fish be the star lol. I won't hold fish in my livewell (unless it's a tourney). I try to get them released asap. I don't get too caught up in the smaller fish and usually just snap the pics so people don't think I'm fibbin', 4lbs+ and I may pose with it? 5+ and more than likely I will take the time.
