Debating if I should get some Work done or Go fish Lake Stevens for Kokanee today after work (Get off at 2pm weekdays). I said Screw work I'm GOIN' FISHIN' Got boat hooked up & stopped by walmart to get white Shoepeg corn. Arrived at City boat launch round 3:30ish. In a bag mixed Corn with Minced Garlic/krill, Anise.

Very few boats, jetskis on water. Focused on staying mostly East of the Lake Out of the canal there. Ran into 2 guys fishing, they had 1 Koke caught earlier on chartreuse color gear. Marked fish throughout That general area in depths from 60ft-100ft. Saw lots of fish suspended between 10-20ft. Also in the 30ft water column. Down to 40ft. Tried Few different Sling blade/Dodger colors/Patterns. Different Hoochies, Wedding rings, Pro Trolls, Apex. Only thing i didn't try was long lining..Tried different depths as well. Everywhere where I was marking fish, I took my presentations above that depth.

Couldn't get a single Koke to bite. Only thing I caught on an Orange/Gold Wedding ring was a 10" trout, which i released. I was getting fed up & left at 7pm. I heard it's a Morning bite period. I dono..
