Wow! What a day with the wife and kiddos! Came across a report last night on the upper lake and the kokanee looked bigger than the ones we have been catching on the lower lake. So we hooked up to the boat and made the 15 minute drive up to Conconully. We got to the upper lake around 1. Started out just about in front of the rope swing and started up lake. First fish in the boat 10 minutes in 12" Healthy and fat. Great looking fish. Stayed opposite the road and was getting great action on the corn poles. So we pulled the worms went all corn. Lost a bunch, kept a bunch. 2 really nice ones broke off the leader at the boat. Very good day on the water average fish is 12" and fat. Looks like these fish are going to size up as the season goes on. Tips up!
