I saw there was a winter weather warning in effect for the Eastern Cascades this morning, with the snow level being around four or five thousand feed (with up to eight inches predicted). I debated on whether to go or not. Three cups of coffee later and a caffeine buzz, I headed up to Dog Lake. It was COLD. 36 degrees, and the snow was coming down heavy, but not sticking. It didn't take long to limit out though. Pink Power eggs on the bottom, fishing along the highway, with LOTS of weight got the job done in an hour. It's not very often you see snow at Dog Lake in the middle of June, so that was pretty unique. Also, I didn't catch any of the Triploids they planted a few weeks ago, but there is always next time. Tight Lines!
