Went to Ohop on Sunday and fished 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. Tried senkos, drop shot, and jig. Only got bites on a wacky-rigged senko. Landed three LMB and had three others do head shakes and threw the hook. Interesting to watch (head shakes, not thrown hook part). On the senko, used a 2/0 finesse hook with crossed o-rings to help keep the hook point from laying flat against the bait.
Was going to be just one of those days until I thought I'd got snagged, but turned out there was a LMB wrapped around weeds and a submerged tree limb. Finally landed the fish with weed garnish and it turned out to be the biggest LMB I've caught at Ohop. Measured 19 inches and weighed 3.94 lbs.
