I was having a bit of fishing withdrawl after camping at Kalaloch National Park (part of the Olympic NP) for 9 days with our grandkids. Even with our scorching temp I decided to head to Fish Lake.

The park was crowded with folks trying to cool off. I headed south of the fishing dock to see if anything was biting. I found a school of small perch that couldn't resist hitting my hook. I took home 6 small perch. It was entertaining enough that the grandkids (5 and 3) might have been entertained...if it wasn't for the fact they don't live nearby.
