Fished St. Clair in the morning for LMB. Started the morning throwing shallow diving cranks in bluegill patterns and picked up a few small bass in the 10 inch range. I somehow left the majority of my soft plastics at home, so I transitioned to a 1/2 oz jig with a berkley craw (also bluegill colored) and caught a dozen more small bass with the largest being just under 13 inches, so nothing to write home about. Rigged my buddy up with a texas rigged yamamoto grub (watermelon) and he caught a dozen bass of the same size. The action was fairly constant until we got off the water for lunch. Most fish were caught while pitching docks or submerged timber.
