This report covers fishing from July1st to the 5th. Beautiful mornings with some wind followed by very windy afternoons was the story for the first 5 days of July. The Bar was our early morning location followed either by turns around the Doughnut Hole or a short trip to the Slide. Jeff's drifts baited with a piece of Pikeminnow worked on the downrigger rods while the venerable T4 Purple Glow Flatfish worked on the poor man's Outrigger rods. As always, working 3 to 5 feet off the bottom was the ticket with speeds held between 1.1 and 1.4 mph. Thanks to the Carlson's , The Quesada's, the Qi party, the giant Vandenbrinks, the Southam's and the Warners for fishing with us. My apologies to those I missed!

This is a great time to fish Lake Chelan!
