A group of four of us - three of us fisherman - hiked up to Stuart Lake. The cutthroat trout were quite active at the surface, and we caught quite a few keepers using Rooster Tail spinners and flies. None of the fish were super big, as the largest were only around 12". We caught quite a few small trout as well that we released. Overall, considering we were there in the middle of the day, I was very happy with the action we got.
