This report covers fishing from 7/15 to 7/18. We are into the heart of the summer Bar bite on Lake Chelan. The Bar, the fringe of the Bar and Manson Bay have produced the majority of our fish during this period. The doughnut hole has cooled off some. Far and away, T4 Purple Glow (GPLF) Flatfish has been the fish killing lure. Speeds of 1 to 1.3 mph within 5 feet of the bottom has triggered the bite. It is a great time to fish the early mornings on Chelan. The rest of the day is pretty good too, but you do have to share the lake with pleasure boaters then. Tight lines!
