Had a great first trip to Lake Wenatchee. Weather on Monday was fantastic. Arrived at the boat launch at 4am and only had to wait an hour. I dont recall ever seeing that many boats in such a small space. Kind of like humpie fishing on the Snohomish. Must have been 200 boats out there. Dang!!! Guess it comes with the territory.

Only put 2 fish in the boat but they were nice ones, 4lbs each. Lost a couple more and of course the big one got away. LOL the bugger sent that pink hoochie zinging past my ear!!! Used the usual dodger with pink hoochies down between 60 and 90 feet, couple flashers on the ball, 10 inch leader, flasher and hoochie a couple feet back.

Planned on spending 2 days fishing but the wind was howling so hard Tues morning I came home. Wimp out!!!

Just wanted to say Thanks! to the unknown lady who helped me load up. It can be a little nerve wracking loading by yourself when there are 10 boats waiting behind you.
