It's been a long week plus since I last went fishing...unless you consider taking a 5 and 3 y/o on their first trip "fishing." That was more about testing grandpa's patience! :)

I took my kayak out from the public launch and stayed mainly on the north end of the lake. I had a nice Crappie on the line and almost got it into the boat. I hit the "wooded" area on the NE area and boated 8 nice perch and threw back 7 -10 others. I had 1 fat Bluegill (7") in the boat but decided to let him go too.

The only negative to the day was I had to cut loose my grapple anchor; it got stuck in the underwater structure. After trying every trick I could think of for 10 minutes it was time to go in.

I did see 2 Tiger Muskie attack the top of the water...and got to meet guide "Muskie Dave" and his charter. They boated 3 and lost 1.
