I took Mikes recommendation and went to Conconully for the weekend. Camping at the main state camp grounds. Perfect place, great people, CLEAN bathrooms and large sites.
I spent Friday night at the upper lake and in less then two hours I limited on 11 inch Kokonee's but no trout. What a pretty lake. All the fish were at 35' and trolling at 1.3. I found that orange was best, but pink was just fine too. Just put it in front of them and they were ON. VERY hard fighting fish.

Day 2, went up to the upper lake and left from the state park launch and headed towards the dam. There is a point across from the ramp to the west. I got both rods down and POW, the first goes off at 30' and I got the hook set and started reeling in, the second at 35 goes off too. I got both in, doing a Key stone cop with the net. Reset and headed towards the dam and got both lines set and sat down and POW. there goes #1 again. I jump up and start fighting the fish and Bamm, there goes #2. Ok, been here 15 minutes and have 4 out of my 5 limit. Hmmm.... Seen a video from Macks lures of them at the intake pipe so headed over there and set up and headed up to the east and Kapow. There goes a rod. #5 Koke. Stated at 9 am and done at 9:45.

Went and got my wife and ate a great breakfast in town and took a nap in the tent.

Got up and got ready for the upper lake. Different day, same outcome. WHAT a great pair of lakes, Friendly town and outstanding camping area. There must have been hundreds of quads and motorcycles all heading up the hills. The next door camp site said there are literally hundreds of groomed and un-groomed trails for people to explore. The fishing is off the charts. I was alone so only got the picture of end of day 2 after cleaning, I thought of you all. LOL
