Dropped the wife off at the casino and headed to Wapato to try for a few fish & maybe some crawfish. My golfing friend said there were some huge crawfish in the lake. Never got a one with 3 pots out but did really well on the fishing. Got my limit in a little over an hour. Really nice fish in the 14'' to 16'' range but one was covered in some kind of parasite. I guess I'll use him for bait or fertilizer. Not too appetizing to look at! Does anyone know if this lake has a problem with parasites & whether the fish are good to eat. Did meet one other group coming out & they had their limit & gave me directions to the "hot" spot.
