Had a bit of luck on Sammamish this morning. I launched my kayak from the beach at the state park and slowly made my way through all the skiers to the weather buoy and back. I was trolling a small dodger and a wiggle hootchie behind 6-8 colors of lead core. I hooked up twice on cutthroat on my way out to the buoy. Landed one, lost one.
Hooked up on two more small fish on the way back to the park on a small crank bait. I'm not sure what they were though. They looked like some kind of sucker fish. They were about a foot long, silver, with a small mouth, & made a weird clicking/popping noise when I got them up to the surface. I should have gotten a pic. *shrug* Good times.
