The last hurrah for camping before I start teaching! I took my 'yak out from Deer Lake Resort on the northwest end of the lake. I didn't have to go very far before finding a dock that produced a dink perch and a very nice 10" perch.

I moved on a few more docks, hit more bluegill, one more 10" perch and a bass that surfaced, shook the hook and escaped...I'm estimating it at 12" or so. Everything was released.

I also got to teach a couple of boys some info about using Power Bait Crappie Attractant oil. All in all, a very nice mornining!
