This is the start of a 6 day fishing expedition in my new Sea Eagle 1 man fishing machine.
Sonar with down vue and GPS, forward mounted rod holders, electric trolling motor and anchor.
Started with perch colored Senko wacky rigged. Nada.
Switched to watermelon with red sparkle. Water clarity easily 10'. Picked up a couple of 1.5# largemouth.
Wind started to kick up around noon.
Started trolling a 8-9' diving plug right on the edge of the weed line. Picked up a 3+ largemouth. My personal best. No pic with the wind blowing me all over the lake.
Trolled a Green Wooley Bugger tipped with a worm fow awhile. Caught a few 9" perch.
The wind finally blew me off the lake. Packed up and headed for Fish lake for some shore fishing.
Good first day. Leader lake tomorrow.
Roses, Wapato and a different Fish lake still to come.

Had to stay in Omak instead of Tonasket.
Only got 1 trip into the lake.
Headed to Leader lake tomorrow. Wind was to much to get on the lake today.
Shore fished Fish lake in the late afternoon. Limit in 1/2 hour. Nice bows. 12-14" pink flesh.
They love the weeds!! Have to horse em in like bass before they bury themselves in the weeds.

I really like Okanogan County for fall bass fishing. I have caught bass from 9 Okanogan Lakes - Palmer Lake, Whitestone Lake, Spectacle Lake. Green Lake, Osoyoos Lake, Silver Nail Lake, Duck Lake, Little Green Lake and Conconully Lake. Several trips were combined with some Deer Hunting and Steelhead Fishing.
