Fished primarily for Largemouth Bass (LMB) during Thu, Fri, and Sat evening this last weekend. Fishing was very consistent on Thu/Fri and a bit slower due to getting there later on Saturday.
Weather was clear and warm during the evening with loads of biting bugs coming out once the early sunset hit Dalton (it's at the bottom of hillside). Fishing ranged from about 17:00-20:00, sunset around 19:30-19:40.
Fished primarily 3" yum dinger senkos in brown/chart tip & watermelon red flake on a 2 hook drop shot. Also was successful with half nightcrawlers on #6 baitholder hooks (2 hook dropshot). Also was successful with a #6 baitholder + full nightcrawler anywhere from 6-18" under a float. Fishing really picked up and were getting almost instant hits after the sun set beneath the hillside. Fish caught were LMB 6-10", a small bluegill, couple small yellow perch with our biggest fish caught here on Thursday night- 12" LMB, just shy of a pound.
