Effective dates: Sept.16 through Oct. 31, 2016.
Species affected: Salmon.
Location: Lake Washington (King Co., North of the Hwy. 520 Bridge and East of the Montlake Bridge and including that portion of Sammamish River from 68th Ave. NE Bridge downstream): open to fishing for salmon.
Other Information: Daily limit of 2 coho, minimum size 12 inches. Release chinook and sockeye salmon.

9/21/2016 7:10:00 PMAlso, with the water being as warm as it is during the first part of the fishery, fish that are released don't have a high survival rate, so the State figures you might as well keep what you catch. Just because they swam away, doesn't guarantee they will survive.
