My son and I were at the lake by 0630 with our boat fishing in the middle were there wasn't a lot of weeds. We caught 7 in two hours using power bait chartreuse nuggets or yellow with sparkles on a 3 foot leader or a 1/4 of a worm under a bobber 5 to 7 feet deep. The fish were very active and were slamming the bait especially the worms. Would of caught ten but only needed enough for dinner and to leave a few for someone else.
