When our chores were done on Sunday my oldest son talked me into a quick Bluegill trip to Green Lake for the possibility of a fish taco supper. He was armed with a dozen new jigs purchased with his allowance while Inopted for the type 5 fly line and and some small streamer patterns I picked up at the North 40 fly shop. We quickly boated enough nice 'gills for supper with a couple complementary crappie and a nice perch. He informed me that next time he will bring his fly rod since it was more productive. He does have a point it was extremely more productive.
