It was nice to have the morning off from work. I got the toon ready and headed on down to the water. Got set up and launched around 7:45am. Didn't want to waste any time so I trucked over to Kirkland and Moss Bay Area. Immediately started marking fish at 50-60 ft so I dropped my gear down. It took about 2 hours before I got my first fish. They were very lock jaw and seemed to like a slower troll. My rod got slammed as I was making a u turn and ended up with a 6lb-7lb female. Released a 14 inch Cutt about 15 min after the coho and that was about all the action I had for the morning. It was perfect out on the water, light breeze and very cool temps. Not too many boats. Got to meet member Motley and Doug out there and also another guy who noticed me from this site but never caught his name. It was a pleasure meeting you guys and hope the bite was even better for you. Tight lines!
