Took the girlfriend out fishing for couple hours Saturday morning. We fished 80ft of water couple feet off bottom. She hooked a good size walleye. We took a picture and released it. Anyone else catching walleye in lake Washington?

Are you certain it was a Walleye? I haven't heard about walleye in Lake Washington. It may have been a Northern Pike Minnow. They look a little bit like a walleye. Did it have a white tip on the lower lobe of the tail? If so, it's a walleye.

Like Tyee said, not likely a Walleye, but you can always post your pic and let the peanut gallery interpret your catch.

Well, after looking at walley pictures vs squaw pictures, you gentleman where right. I'm posting a picture of the beautiful northern pike minnow when I figure out how....

I believe the WDFW has actually found that a few walleye are to be found in Lake Washington. Their advice if I remember it correctly is to keep any walleye or at least kill the intruder. They are vicious predators and would only add to the decreasing sockeye run.
