Had zero intentions of fishing this lake today, partly because I'm still in largemouth mode and partly because the wind was supposed to be fairly strong today. I drove by on my way to Fazon just tp look and wouldn't you know it, glass smooth up around Bloedel. I decided to launch and poke around given that it closes soon. I fished Strawberry Point, Geneva Point, the Sunnyside area and all over around the launch. One bite and one bite only. I fished crankbaits, spinnerbaits, grubs, jigs, drop shot, jerkbaits and anything else I could think of in depths from 3-35 feet around rocks, docks, pilings and weed edges and couldn't get bit to save my life.

Water temps were right around 57*, I found one spot in 58*. Finally snapped out of it and left for some largemouth fishing.....see you in the Spring Whatcom.
