Decided to bag Fazon for another time and fished Wiser this evening. I was surprised to see water temps right at 53*! A little cool but not too bad yet. I fished a few of my favorite spots without a bite. Went under the Guide and fished a lap. I finally caught a pounder on a Rapala in the far back corner. I missed two more bites on the Senko and caught 3 more dinks on the Rapala before heading for home.

I may call it for Whatcom County this year? Once those lakes start to cool they go fast! Terrell in February is always worth a look but as far as I'm concerned that's about it.
