CF and I headed to Sprague without Al today. We had lines in the water by 7:30 and trolled Kekada perch flies and perch rippin minnows on the west end of the lake. Last week we killed them in the same area but did not get a bump in one hour so thanks to RWL we headed to the east end. It took only a few minutes to prove this was the right move. Over the next 4 hours we landed 16 fish in the 17-20 inch range, all C&R. The fish showed no preference for the perch Kekada or rippin minnows. Water temp was 45, speed 2.0-2.3 MPH, 10-12 FOW. These fish continue to fight like crazy with many aerial leaps. We had another dozen hits that did not stick. We weighed 2 fish and they both topped 3 lbs. The weather today was great with little wind on the East end. With no equipment issues today we had another great day on the water.
