I went back to Offut Lake today to see what I could do with more effort into bottom fishing after catch two nice Bow's yesterday in less than 30 minutes. Much colder today as there was a bit of a North cutting wind.

Got there a little earlier today based on the lunar calendar. I was told that some one else was down at the dock when I checked in and ran into the fellow at the parking lot. He had gone back home to get a warmer coat and was just getting back. As we walked down the stairs to the dock, I was very anxious to see where on the dock he was fishing because I want to try the same spot as yesterday. Well, he had a 2 pole setup with a tackle store right where I wanted to be. I was really thinking I could possible limit today till I saw this.

He had one fish already when I got there and promptly had 3 strikes only to miss to and have one come off while I had one nibble. His action was very steady and ended up with his limit in 2.5 hours, all nice Bows about 14".

He allowed me to use his spot as he gathered up his tackle store and I managed to catch one and miss one and at had to go.

I rated it a 4 because it was a very good day for someone and I was consistently netting his fish for him!
