My Daughter and I wanted to try a different Lake, so, we went to this little lake South of Monroe. It's not easy to find, as we drove right by it, not knowing it was there. First, there's no place to park and we had to park, on the road. Second, I would not try to put a cartop boat or inflatable, in this Lake. Third, we were lucky that we brought my long Crappie Poles, (16 footers) because the fishing was great, right from the shore. The Lake is warm and only 6-8 foot deep. It's full of Pads, but most of all, it's full of FISH. We were there only 2 1/2 to 3 hours and have not had that much fun, anywhere. We brought home a nice mess of Pan-Fish and they were delicious. Try this little lake out, when you can. Be sure to lock your car.
