Bear lake. Super tough day today. Could not find fish to save my life drilled holes in 6' to 50' had one bite in 20' dead sticking a waxie.. ended up spot borrowing from some people after they left. I punched hole near where they were and started hooking into fish. They Weren't relating to the bottom. I would see a mark on the flasher 6' off the bottom. I would Rip up my jig and waxie and coax them into biting. I got 5 fish. And a kid got 1. some shcmucks left 5 good perch in the ice. Don't know how or why they left 5 10" perch just sitting there. But we will see how they cut up .. it was a slow day..... Ice was 6" with 3" of water on top with 1"-1/2" of ice on top of that.. a few more days of cold cold weather and it should be solid all the way through.
