Another awesome day on the lake. We got on the ice about 9:00 am, it was overcast, cold and foggy for the first hour, then the sun burned the fog off and it turned into a sunny warm day. The snow melted off some yesterday afternoon because it wasn't as deep as deep today, the cold temps Saturday night froze up the layer of slush that was between the snow and ice yesterday and the ice is now a lot thicker. We had fish on within two minutes of getting our gear in the water and caught fish pretty consistently throughout the morning. Most of the perch were bigger today than they were yesterday, I kept twelve and my buddy Mark kept another 14-16. We started to pack up about 1:00 when I noticed Ridgeratt sledding his one-man ice shelter in our direction. We shared information and ideas and wished him good luck.

Nice seeing you on the ice E-10. I like to think of it as a studio apartment comes with Light's, Heat and a roof. The down side is doesn't have indoor plumbing!!

That is a nice studio apartment, my daughter wants me to get a two seater and deck it out like yours. But she wants indoor plumbing :)

E-10. Tried to find how to PM and no luck. I have a Frabill Trekker 2 I want to sell. I bought a Shappel one man and don't want the two man. Good shelter and in perfect condition, stored in my shop. Maybe used a dozen time if that. contact me a heb@comcast.net if you want to see it.
