We had another great day today. we got on the ice by 9:00 am and stayed till about 1:30 pm, I caught a mess of perch and kept 11. The bite was pretty consistent for me and I had a blast.

You just couldn't have asked for a better day today, when I left Spokane it was snowing big flakes, but by the time we got up to the lake it had cleared and the wind had died down. It remained good weather till about 1:00 pm when it started raining. The ice was in better shape today than it was yesterday, no standing water or slush on the surface. And punching holes in the ice today made all chips till you got through it.

Some friends came out and set up ice camps near us, so there was plenty of conversation to help pass the time.

A shout out to Ridgeratt for the loan of a bucket to get the mess-o-fish off the ice today.

I'm looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow with the kids this time since they are out of school.
