Good fishing north of Seahawk's field a ways, in 71' of water. 43.5 degree water. Fish were w/in 12" of the bottom, period. 1.5 - 2 oz. dropper weight. Worms outfished perch meat. Trolling a tiny spinner, super slow, worked well too. A moving bait seemed to outifish one that just sat there, or was jigged in only one spot. A few other boats out, in the same spot, on Saturday - seemed to be doing well.
Perch up to 10.5", and "whitefish" (Peamouth Chub) to 16.5". No other species. Had the SE 40th St. launch to myself the last few days.
Had an issue, but a guy at Seattle Boat, Inc. (a few feet away from the launch) saved the day.
The perch seemed kind of soft - Gman said that in a recent comment as well. Lots of eagles!
Thanks for the feedback to my forum question, guys.
