My dad and I fished Lake Ki Friday July 5th. We began fishing a little before 7:00am and found a fair amount of bottle rockets and other debris floating on the lake. There were just a few others on the lake fishing. We were anchored for a little over half an hour when we had our first fish on, a feisty 10 incher. That turned out to be the smallest fish of the day. Shortly after that, the action began to pick up. There were 3 times when my dad and I had fish on at the same time. A couple of the times we had to net a fish while the other person's fish was still in the net. We had our limit in a little over 2 hours (even better than when we fished Lk Ki three weeks earlier). Most of the fish were around 12-13 inches. The largest one caught was 18 inches. We were fishing with Powerbait. The weather was perfect (sunny, clear and mild, little wind). The water temperature at the surface was 66.8 degrees.
