Got to easter dinner about an hour early in Monroe. Had my rods and tacklebox in the car, so i suggested to my girlfriends little brother that we go down the street and wet a line. Put on a slip weight and a couple of powerbait eggs on the hook and reminded him how to cast a spinning rod and before i could even tie my own rod up he already had a fish on. We got 5 to shore before it was time to call it quits and head back for dinner time. Nothing inpressive size-wise, just some hatchery stockers, but we had a fun time.
