Enjoyed four days of fishing on the Columbia River at the mouth Bouy-10 area. Lots of action and, was surprised that so many large 14-16 pd. hatchery silvers were available. Had to release very few wild ones. The kings were in but only managed to boat two each day. Lots of private boat were in the river as well as many guide boats from Oregon loaded with customers plied these waters. For those without boats, several people were fishing the river side of the north jetty and had nice fish to clean at the Ft.. Canby cleaning station. They toss a small weight and herring or a large bobber and herring spin fishing these rigs to good success. No humpies here. We trolled with divers and herring and lead and herring both worked fine. Seems good fishing is here in the NW. Good luck to all. DH
