My friend KC and I went to the big jetty at about 5:00 PM. It was pretty good fishing. Despite losing three lunkers, KC and I managed to land two nice Kelp Greenling apiece. We were just fishing nightcrawlers off the bottom. Our good buddy Ross was there. He managed to land two decent Sea Bass; I'd say one was about 3 lbs and the other was seven. On the way off the jetty, we ran into some gentleman who had landed a shark of some kind. I could not identify the shark, but it was around 3-4 feet. As night fell, we went to the docks. Out on Float 3 we met up with our good pal Erika. Using herring rigs, we jigged for herring and anchovies catching about a half dozen total and several surf perch. But we had to watch out for the baby salmon, they kept trying to be caught! On a "scale" from slimy sculpin to Chinook salmon, I would give this day a starry flounder!
