Excellent place to go bowfishing for carp, in the summer. Tried the slough on the Columbia River across from the mouth of the Okanogan on the 14th of August, but they were past the spawning stage and weren't there. So I went over to the okanogan River, near the mouth and found a lot of monster carp. They were Huge carp with tough scales that required a sharp tip on your arrow. They are in the shallows off of the main current of the river. Lots of fun.
