We trolled the rocks again yesterday. Robert kept hooking up on sub-26" lings as soon as we started at 11am. Trolling the inside going south, I got my first hit at 1pm, a nice light colored keeper ling. We put him back and continued trolling south. Ten minutes later, where the breakwater widens in the south end, I thought I snagged up. While backing up to free the snag it started fighting back. 15 minutes later we landed a 30lb ling
that measured 39 1/2 inches. It towed our small Avon boat over a hundred yards. On the troll north to the boat launch Robert got his light green keeper. The south end of the rocks, both inside and out is good and we have had equal success trolling and pitching into the rocks. Over the last two days we have boated over 30 lings, almost half keepers. All this using Robert's secret setup. Look for us in a gray or red Inflatable
