We were in the water at day break. Proceeded to Pt Dalco area because it was an incoming tide.
We caught several shakers. There were about 10 boats in area, most were Mooching. We and one other boat were trolling.
The other troller related that he had caught one 22 1/2 incher but tossed it and trying for a bigger blackmouth.
We did not observe any of the moochers catch any keepers. At tide change we proceeded to the Clay Banks.
Same story there. We then made a couple of passes by the Slag Pile but only picked up several Sanddabs.
In several conversations with other fishermen we got the usual story, i.e., " You should have been here yesterday, ya da yada
yada..... Stopped by the boat house for coffee. The gal in there related that she has seen only two fish all day.
