Fished the Dash Point pier the second time and find it pretty darn slow. Fished from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM without a freakin bite. I thought it would be good today since yesterday was pretty decent around noon with about 3 silvers. I figured the fish are resident silvers because they weren't really big (2-3 lbs.), and none of them had any sign of maturity (hooked nose). I also saw a few schools of kings lurking around the shallow waters. Well, it was a good day overall regardless of not catching any fish.
PS: If you plan to fish for salmon on this pier you have to be aware of Mr. Seal, because a lot of fish have been stolen by the seal while someone hooks one. You gotta reel in really really quick otherwise the seal would grab your fish before you get to see it. I have seen 2 nice silvers stolen that way. Good luck to all you out there. Tight lines.
