About 0600, launched at Mukilteo, started fishing as soon as we left the docks, because the tide was in. We caught three pinks within the first hour. I caught one of if not the biggest pink I have ever caught in saltwater between nine and ten pounds. (Of course after a few years it will have grown to the full ten pounds ;^). It took us three more hours to catch two more. I thought we had performed fairly poorly, because I kept seeing nets go up; however, when we returned to the docks and checked with the fish checker, she related we had done relatively well and a lot of boats were skunked.
