Fished with three people Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Launched every morning from Shilshole about 6:30 AM. Friday morning got off to a slghtly akward start with a dead battery on boat. We adapted and used the Kicker and trolled out in front of the harbor. Got two smallish ( 4 - 5 lb ) silvers on down riggers on white hoochies fished on a green dodger at 55 and 95 feet. really choppy and had an "oh-my god" moment with a big wave from a passing freighter.
Saturday, we went to possesion and caught a bunch of really fat feisty dogfish. Managed to get one nice 6lb Silver caught on the surface on a white hoochie while
setting up down rigger. Also we caught a nice lingcod (15 to 20 lbs) which shook the hook at the boat, which was OK, since they are closed.
Sunday brought 2 more small Silvers boated and on nice (6-7 lb) male silver lost at the bot all on white Hoochies at about 100 feet. Also cought in front of Shilshole Marina.
Good fish, good friends, good time. Other boats seemed to be doing better also.
