6/25/2007 9:37:00 PMI caught two Hatchery Jack Kings Monday June 18th at tide change. I had 40 ft. on the downrigger in 70 ft. of water at Gibson point. The larger fish was 25" and 7 lbs. It was almost as fat as it was long, the smaller was 23" and 5 lbs. The early jacks are there, and fish shallow for them.
Caught the salmon between pulling the rock crab pots. If you boil the rocks for 20 minutes the shells don't shatter into such tiny pieces.
