Launched out of Ft. Casey about 9 AM in the rain. Ran down to Lagoon Point and had the lines in the water by 9:30. Started for Coho using a green and silver flasher with a green and white 3.0 coyote at 45 feet, a silver coyote at 35 feet and a pink spoon at maybe 25 feet. Had the first hit on the green coyote around 10 AM. Didn't get it to the boat. Got the first humpy shortly after that on the 35 foot silver spoon. Then another humpy on the pink spoon at 25 feet. Switched all spoons to pink and brought the lines to 20-25 foot depth. Started nailing the humpies. Had all three poles with fish on them at one point. Couldn't get the net freed fast enough, so lost one of them, but that's ok. Fished until 4:30pm. 3 poles in the water and 11 humpies on board with that many lost, many right at the boat. None of them over 3 lbs, but still a great day. Lots of fun and the sun came out too. No silvers, but that's ok when the other fish are hitting. Saw many others caught around us and on shore too.
