Went out before work, about 9am, overcast. went down to the south side of the pier. There was a couple people fishing too. I was using some two inch crappie skirts, glow. I rigged them up on some ten pound fluorocarbon leader with some size 10 gamakatsu circle hooks. Set them up like a drift rig. Tipped it with some herring, used my ultralight rod. I dropped down to the bottom and had my first fish in seconds. Nice 16" flounder. Got it up and put it in the fish basket. Then I caught bull heads and some weird looking silver fish for the next twenty minutes, caught one squid too! Caught one more flounder, about 12 inches. Then I had to head out and go to work. I am going down again this weekend. Pictures hopefully.
