Another morning down at Carkeek Park beach by the house. There was a slight breeze in the correct direction for casting this time. Mostly cloudy skies, and the tide was way low. I was seeing a lot of fish, I assume silvers in the 2-4 lb range jumping of the the shoreline. They were mostly a couple hundred yards out. I was casting a gold (blue fox) or is it (artic fox?) I'm sure you know the one. Size #4. After about 30 minutes I reeled in a nice 3lb silver, aprx. 20". It was a great way to start the day. Fish was released. Only the usual two fly fisherman were there. Unfortunately it is hard to keep my camera in a safe dry place in my waders and land a fish and get the camera out at the same time so no pic.
