Carkeek is close to home, so I went out to see what Quad has been talking about. Got the the park about 6:15 and you could see em jumpin all along the shores. From 6:30 to 7:30 I caught 2 at about 2# each. One was definitely a little coho, but the other I don't think was, very dark green back - beautiful fish. I forgot my net, and I didn't plan on keeping anything anyway, so I didn't take a very good look. One was caught on a silver crocodile and the other on a silver/green crocodile. The tide was on it's way in, the water calm, the sky was overcast with a little rain. After 7:30, the fish seemed to move out about 200 yards, but still jumping. Quad showed up about 8, but by then the bite was off. There were two fly-guys and one other guy casting while I was there. I saw the guy casting hook & release 3, but none for the fly-guys.
